I take a somewhat small offense to that. I am German, and deeply respect Germany as a country. Only us Germans can make jokes about Germans. (Like Mexicans)

Anyways, it's less of a joke about Germans, more of a joke about Nazis.  It's really not even a joke.

at the same time we are americans. if you are like me my ancestors came from all over northern europe and the british isles to find a better future, and also so that their children could call themselves "americans" in this country

Seinfeld reference to the Soup Nazi as far as I know.


And people who are sticklers for grammar and spelling and such tend to be referred to as grammar nazis on most of the other forums I hang out at.


It's not meant to be derogative, honestly, but if someone has an issue with it they can let me know and I'll stop.
