If you've never heard of l337 you don't belong on the internet.
It's not quite a language, it's a substitution system where numbers and symbols replace letters. There are (apparently) several "dialects" or versions of it (or degrees, some people only substitue every once in a while --> m4d skillz. some people substitute every letter --> |\/|4|) 5|<1|_|_5. Most go in between {personally, I like the more extreme versions}).
