Anyone's family here have Christmas or <insert your winter holiday of choice here> traditions?
About all my family has is going to the 5 PM Children's mass at my church on Christmas Eve to watch the kids put on their nativity play, then playing host to the annual Henrichs' Christmas party. But this year we're leaving the day after Christmas to go visit relatives in Illinois and Indiana. Fun. :P
Hey my tradition is kinda gay but.......... On the 12th day of X-mas we fill out 1 slip of paper each with our name on it and then fold it up and put it in a box..... whoever in the family gets tht persons name they have 40 dollers to buy a gift(s)......while we r @ the mall (we usally partner up to help each other out)and buy their gifts.... anywho when we get back home we wrap the person's present(s) that we bought them then we sit around the x-mas tree (yes it is still up at this time) and we say who we got and give them the gift...... yeah it is really fun if u want u can do this with ur family its fun cuz if your family member wined about not getting somthign u can get it to them....... well toots ~MightyCheeseQueen
