Anyone else seen the PS3 yet? There's a picture of it and the controller (wireless by default) in a small article in recent Times near the back (the one about Martin Luther King).
It looks like a much nicer, sleeker, just all around prettier PS2. Forgive me if I'm repeating facts, but it holds up to 8 controllers (wireless!). Forget when it's due out (too lazy to run down and check), but it's supposed to run about 400$ - 500$.
You people are retarted You can not say that x-box 360 is better then PS3 b/c PS3 IS NOT OUT YET So can we please wait on that argument when PS3 comes out i will personaly ask you what you like more and we can start the descussion then , but now its a waist of time!!!
R YOU REALLY THAT NOOBISH there is only 2 next gen consoules and we cant descusem b/c they r made by the same company computer and x-box 360 and we cant talk about them b/c its clearly will be a bad descussion and the computer is not considered a console soo WE CANT TALK WHAT CONSOLE IS BETTER B/C THERE IS ONLY 1
Maybe my definition of next-gen is wrong, but what about the PS3? And the Nintendo one (Revolution? too lazy to look up the new name)?
...
And computers TECHNICALLY aren't made by Microsoft. Microsoft makes the software for the OS and all that good suff. And I'd say it's the hardware that "makes" a computer, which means that the PC wouldn't really be Microsoft's console were it to be considered a console. (Note- I am not a PC gamer, so I don't know as much as I'd like on this subject. For all I know that entire above "paragraph" is incorrect and 'talli was making a valid point.)
Not only was it not a valid point, but it made no sense.
Computers are not made by microsoft, but is does dominate (as shadow said) the software market.
Comparison of all the nex-gen systems is the main topic of disscussion in the video-game community. You CAN compare them. Mostly, it's made by what the company releases about the system, so it's the companies fault anyway.
.................
I'm not lazy (persay), it's just that this is a topic about the Ps3, not the Revolution. I'm made a simple comparison, and now it's all gone to hell.
it seems that I bring about discord quite easily.

Well I say screw you all. Ok, not really. But, my personal opinion is that Sony's new system costs too much (current rumors predict approximately $400-$600), Xbox 360 has too many problems (faulty graphics cards, faulty controllers, faulty everything, pretty much), and the Nintendo Revolution pwns everyone because it is so innovative. In my opinion, the only games that you should play should have something new or innovative. Who wants to usher in the new era of video games with a FPS with no new features? I sure don't. The Revolution's controller alone makes me want to buy it.

I would like to point out that one of the major reasonns the X-Box 360 has been having problems is that people have been turning them on their sides while playing which you're
NOT SUPPOSED TO DO!
Anyway, who is to say that the Revolution and/or Ps3 won't be buggy?
And what FPS are you speaking of?
All I'm saying is that Microsoft is the only company that has shown hardware, and man did they flex it. This system has some horsepower.
One other thing; it is said that the PC is the ultimate gaming system.
I sure hope I'm not the only one making a few connnections.
You really have to own an X-Box 360 to see all the things I'm talking about.
And I thought we went through this; innovation does not neccessarily mean anything at all. A game can be extremely innovative but still suck. Something new doesn't make it great.
And who can we say that neither of the other systems are not innnovative. The ps3 can have 8-controllers hooked up. That's evolution, man. The interface and profiles programs built into the X-Box 360 are like that of no other system. Pwnidge? No, not really.
